Hackers newest Challenge: Blackberry Super-Secure Obama

Although has been warned by his advisor , Obama insist to use his lovely PDA . That wish must be paid by designing a special super security software with specific encryption. But that security makes more hackers feel more challenged. Well known hacker which make mess to phone system and some computer company in 1990, Kevin Mitnick think that those effort could be done by top hackers. Kevin Mitnick warn that hacker can attack closest friends, business partners, and Obama family to get Obama e-mail via Blackerry. This thing could be done because the security is easier to access. And after having Obamas email, hacker send an email to tease Obama to opened a site that has been infiltrated by with malicious code. There is nothing impossible in the hacker world.

Blackberry Gemini

Blackberry family will accept the arrival of new Blackberry Gemini 9300 which provide a wider screen and 3G supported. The screen is wider and it has better resolution. This handset is not losing its QWERTY keyboard which make it looks like Blackberry Bold. From performance, Gemini promised a similarity to Bold series. But it isn’t sure whether it change 624Mhz processor which used by Bold or change it with a more powerful processor. You will be easier to carry this handset because its not as wide as Bold, its as wide as Curve 8900 so it will be much easier to carry. You also will be pleased with 3.2 MP camera or maybe higher than 3,2 MP. The network which supported are GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri band UMTS/HSDPA.
From design view, Gemini wrapped with dark silver exterior just like Blackberry 8830. Send/End key are flat shaped in the rear side of handset. It is not sure yet about Wi-fi and GPS features, although there is 99,99% sure from RIM side. Gemini predicted to be released on fourth quarter 2009 or first quarter 2010. So be patient OK.

RIM 857/957 the 2nd generation of BlackBerry

RIM’s next generation of BlackBerry devices looked a little more like the models we see today. The pager-style was ditched for a more PDA-style look. The display was increased more than twofold, going form 6 or 8 lines to 16 or 20. It also added the rechargeable lithium battery. However, RIM definitely found the model that would work in the future.

The First Time BlackBerry Born

See, the first model was the one pictured, the RIM 850/950. As you can see, it was little more than a mobile pager. The 850/950 actually ran on two AA batteries. It did integrate with existing enterprise email, though. Still, 1998 was still in the era of the AOL Internet, so most consumers didn’t really have a need for a mobile email device. Cell phones in general weren’t even big in the consumer market at that point, so the need for a wireless PDA was expectedly lacking. But it did provide corporate data access, an organizer, calendar, paging, and wireless Internet, so it was of great use to businesses who wanted a more mobile workforce.

The BlackBerry name

The BlackBerry is a wireless handheld device which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, internet faxing, web browsing and other wireless information services as well as a multi-touch interface.

BlackBerry was developed by the Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM), it delivers information over the wireless data networks of mobile phone service companies.

RIM settled on the name with Lexicon Branding Inc., one of the branding firms out of California. Lexicon was responsible for naming Apple's Powerbook as an example. One of the executives thought the buttons on the device looked like tiny seeds in a strawberry. A linguist at the firm thought "strawberry" wasn't quite the right fit. Someone else suggested blackberry and RIM went for it.

The ability to read e-mail that is received in real-time, anywhere, has made the BlackBerry devices infamously addictive, earning them the nickname "CrackBerry," a reference to the street-drug form of cocaine known as crack. Use of the term CrackBerry became so widespread that in November 2006 Webster's New World College Dictionary named "crackberry" the "New Word of the Year".

Many users also refer to BlackBerry smart phones in general simply as "berries", spawning a litany of offshoots. For example, "berry thumb" or "berry blister" is the soreness that occurs from handling the keyboard.

In Venezuela people refer to the BlackBerry as "BB" or "Bebe" (meaning "baby" in Spanish).
